PTLA develops the leadership potential of immigrant parents by strengthening parent-school communication, increasing educational awareness, learning English through our community partner, NWTI and solving school-community challenges by creating and implementing Legacy Projects for the school and community.

PTLA runs during the school year from 5:00 - 7:00 PM and takes place at Westwood Elementary on Tuesdays & Knapp Elementary on Wednesdays in Springdale.

Kids Club is offered for the children of those attending this program where children read bilingual books, create cultural artifacts from recyclable products, enhance critical thinking skills and lead and implement a community service project.
